In the B1.2 intensive course we work with Netzwerk neu B1.2 (chapters 7–12) and deepen vocabulary, grammar and strategies for confident communication in everyday life, at work and in public situations. Topics include relationships and conflict conversations, health and learning, arts and culture, social engagement, life in the city, as well as money, costs and the economy.
The focus is active speaking: we practise real-life situations, discussions, asking follow-up questions, arguing and presenting so that you can express yourself more fluently and precisely at B1 level. We also train listening and reading systematically (articles, interviews, information texts, longer texts) and work on writing tasks such as personal e-mails, comments, feedback messages, formal e-mails, short reports and argumentative texts.
In grammar we consolidate and expand central B1 structures, e.g. connectors and sentence structure, time expressions and sequences, expressing goals, reasons and counterarguments, as well as useful language for discussion, opinions and argumentation. The course strengthens confidence and routine and is an ideal step to complete B1.
