In the A2.2 intensive course we continue working with the course book “Netzwerk neu A2” (chapters 7–12) and deepen the vocabulary and grammar needed for everyday life. Participants talk about mobility and travelling, learning and exams, sport and health, living together in families and shared flats, different stages of life and how to organise their free time.
Again, the main focus is on spoken communication: we practise everyday conversations about transport, courses and exams, sports offers, housing, neighbours, celebrations and joint activities. In addition, we systematically train listening and reading skills and work on writing short reports, messages, invitations and simple posts for social media.
In grammar we focus on typical A2 structures such as comparative and superlative, more subordinate clauses (for example with “dass” and “wenn”), consolidation of past tenses and useful phrases to talk about plans, assumptions and giving advice. The course is an ideal preparation for completing level A2 and builds confidence in everyday communication – as a solid basis for moving on to B1.
